Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of DotJamr. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
DotJamr provides a tool for creating encrypted, one-time access messages using either Link mode or Keyword mode. Messages are temporary and are deleted after successful access or expiry.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use DotJamr. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use DotJamr lawfully and responsibly. You must not use the service for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, harmful, or malicious purposes.
You must not attempt to interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the service.
4. Link mode and Keyword mode
In Link mode, anyone with the full link may access the message once.
In Keyword mode, access requires both the link and the correct keyword. You are responsible for sharing links and keywords securely.
5. No guarantee of delivery
DotJamr does not guarantee that a recipient will open or read a message. Messages may expire before access and cannot be recovered once deleted.
6. Security limitations
While DotJamr uses browser-based encryption and one-time access controls, it cannot prevent recipients from copying, forwarding, screenshotting, or storing messages once viewed.
DotJamr is not responsible for unauthorised access resulting from how links or keywords are shared.
7. Payments and donations
If donations, payments, or premium features are introduced, transactions may be processed through third-party providers. DotJamr does not store payment card details.
Unless stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable.
8. Suspension or termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the service if we believe it is being misused, used unlawfully, or used in a way that threatens the service or other users.
9. Service availability
The service is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service or any feature at any time without notice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DotJamr disclaims all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including loss of data, expired messages, or unauthorised access.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
